hi community
i have the dk2029na ( uk Based ) and would like to upgrade the ram to 2x16gb from the current 2x4gb. ordered 2x CT16G4SFRA32A crucial ram but from amazon. watched a fair few videos on how to install it, as never done it before. installed ie took old ram out 1 at a time and replaced 1 new, then took 2nd old ram out, then put in other new ram, couldn't disconnect the battery lead as it was so tight to the motherboard, didn't want to force anything and break it. turned laptop on and the screen was just blank, left it on for prob 2 to 3 mins and nothing. so after thinking i had broken the screen somehow ( and a bit of cursing! ) , turned it off by keeping finger on the power button ( above the keyboard ). opened it up again, put the original ram back in ( 2x4gb ) , case back on etc. turned it back on and it was working ok with the original 2x4gb ram.
so not sure what i did wrong, so was hoping its something obvious that ive missed
hopefully someone can assist
sorry for the detailed explanation but wanted to give as much info as possible
thanks for any help

Definitely RAM is NOT compatible. Your machine should be very similar with the following machine (sold in different country/region)
HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk2029nu
You can upgrade to 32GB using Crucial 32GB (2 x 16GB) Ram Kit
Or 64GB using Crucial 64GB (2 x 32GB) RAM Kit
Regards.
