HP Notebook-15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I own a HP bg-15 001ax from 2017. I noticed that the bottom screws were starting to fall off after an year or so. Now it had been 3 years and only 4 screws are remaining. I tried to tighten few of them.. many of them fell again and lost and others had got damaged threads. When I try opening the lid, the palm rest bulges out which had slowly started cracking it near the power button.

It doesn't at all look like it would last long. I bought it for long term use.

My warranty has expired. Please help me with a solution.

Most case parts are replaceable.  Go to support.HP.com and download the Maintenance and service guide for your printer, find the part number for a replacement palm rest and screw kit and order from the HP Parts Store or EBay. When assembling, use a medium duty thread locker on all hardware.

I opened the laptop and found the screw plugs had broken off from its holder. I have to change my whole front part including the keyboard. That's a solution but an expensive one.
