Will not boot, appears dead. Held power button down for 15+ seconds to make sure totally off. When i plug in charging chord, get a quick flash of orangeish-amber (definitely not the usual white as when it was working) on the indicator light. The light itself seems to be flashing quickly on (orangeish-amber) about once every 30-60 seconds or so. Very very intermittently in other words. Replaced the power chord once and it only worked for a short time then back to same behavior, so i do not think it is the power chord.
Any suggestions? Is the only option to take it to the shop for repair?
Thank you.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to Windows and there is no display.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
It looks like a hardware issue. However, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
