I performed the power reset, but no change.

I uninstalled the Dock's software, disconnected the Dock,

and restarted the laptop.

I connected the Dock to the USB-C port, and reinstalled the Dock's

software.

I unplugged the Dock, the reconnected the Dock to the laptop's USB-C port,

I heard the usual chime when a device is connected, didn't see any changes in

the Device Manager, then a second or 2 later, I heard the chime we get when a USB device is disconnected.

The laptop started not recognizing the Dock a few weeks ago, I believe it coincided with Windows update,

but I am not 100% sure of the timing.

I contacted the Dock company, 4URPC, followed all of their recommendations, but same results.

They sent me a new Dock as we both assumed the Dock stopped working, however the new Dock also

is not recognized.

So now I'm thinking the USB-C Port is bad, but I just connected my iPhone to the USB-C port and the

iPhone is recognized and shows up in the Device Manager.

Any suggestions?

tried using the dock without any software, I don't use software in my dock. Check the support page of the model to see if the BIOS is up to date.
