I just bought I new laptop HP 15-db0003nf and I found out that the battery can't be removed. Since I work most of the time connected to the power, I'm afraid the battery will lose too quickly its capacity because of constantly having a high level of charge. My question is, what are the best practices to follow in order to ensure the battery will last as long as possible? How many years can I expect to last? Any HP performance study regarding this issue?
A simplified description of how I use my laptop is like:
- Work at the office (laptop plugged in).
- Once every one or two weeks, have a meeting for one hour (use battery).
- Go back to the office (laptop plugged in)
Should I use the battery at the office as well? How often should I do a charge-discharge cycle? Every day? Every week? Every month? Thanks in advance!
