I just had Spectrum out to my home because of internet issues. Upon arrival, they found High interference on my cable lines. After troubleshooting, we unplugged my Laptop from the power outlet, and the interference went away. Plugging the laptop into ANY outlet in the house causes enough interference to cause issues. Spectrum is claiming that this laptop is backfeeding enough interference, that they had to put filters on my lines. As long as I keep it unplugged, the interfernce is gone, and they can remove the filters. So my question is, is this a power pack issue, or a laptop issue. Has anyone else ever had a problem with this. I have ordered a new power adaptor, but it will be a few days before it get's here.
