I want to purchase a battery for Hp Pavilion g6 2136tx. What kind of battery should  I purchase and from where?

This model notebook is compatible with below batteries:

  • 6-cell, 55-Whr, 2.55-Ah Li-ion battery with part number 593554-001
  • 6-cell, 47-Whr, 2.20-Ah Li-ion battery with part number 593553-001

For more info, refer to page 34 of the service guide. product specs can be found here.

 

You may purchase them online from HP Parts store or from a local HP store.
