HP Laptop PC 15s-du3000
Microsoft Windows 11

Today my HP laptop 15s du3xxx was 40% charged and it suddenly got switched off. After that, I plugged in the adapter and ran battery diagnosis in HP support assistance, it was showing status as weak. What should I do now? Do I have to change my battery if so then where should I buy it? Also, my warranty pack expired 1 year ago.

Take a read of the Knowledgebase article I penned a few years ago.

Weak status means you need to replace it with a new battery.

Since your laptop's warranty period is over, it will be out of your own pocket.

You can purchase it online at Amazon.in.

The HP description and part number is  Battery (3-cell, 41 Whr) L11119-855
here is the search I did in Amazon.in

https://www.amazon.in/s?k=hp+laptop+battery+L11119-855&crid=3OYAOKVUUGEFQ&sprefix=hp+laptop+battery+...

You can replace it yourself, if you can the confidence and patience, or have it done by a laptop shop that your colleagues and friend trust.
