I have a new Pavilion Laptop 15-eh1052wm. The battery charger is TPN-LA15, with output of 19.5 volts, 2.31 amps, and 45 watts. My older HP laptop used charger TPN-C125. The output specs are exactly the same, as is the male pin plugging into the laptop. I would like to keep the older charger, which was working perfectly, at a second home and use it there. I'm hoping because the output specs (and input specs also) are the same that the chargers are compatible, but I'm not all that well-versed on this and thought I'd check here first so I don't cause any harm. THANKS!

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/hr-en/document/c07798369
It uses 45 W Smart AC power adapter part # 741727-001 as shown
https://partsurfer.hp.com/?searchtext=4J8D6UA
My suggestion is ONLY use the part above and you can order new a new one from HP
Regards.
