Laptop charger hp pavilion

Good morning to everyone!

I would like to get some recommendations with respect to the compatible chargers available for my HP Pavilion 15-eg2000, as the one originally provided in the box stopped to work properly and i need to replace it.

I've already looked at the items sold on HP Store but I managed to find only USB-C kind chargers (which are not said to be explicitly compatible with my pc even though my laptop features one usb-c port), whereas my original charger had the propietary connector (the round one similar to a jack).

Enter your notebook's product number in the search window at the link below, and it should provide the parts list which will include the power adapter part number and description.

You can then enter the part number in the HP online parts store at the link below to see if HP sells it.

Save the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter as the power adapters are not sold with the power cord, which is purchased separately and can also be found in the parts list for your notebook.

Another option would be to do a search by the power adapter on eBay and find a used but tested and working genuine HP power adapter.  Those usually come with the power cords included.
