Hello all,
Sorry if i post on the wrong forum or anything. I have searched all over the internet but could't find the specific answer to my question.
I own a Zbook G2 15 laptop and i was wondering is it safe to run it with a closed lid. I am working with sound mixing and editing and sometimes it uses almost all of my cpu. Laptop never gets overheated, temperatures never exceed safe limits. The only thing i am scared of is that maybe my screen can get damaged and it seems that i can't find the answer to that question.
So will the screen get damaged from normal amount of heat produced on the keyboard or not? Is it safe?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Welcome to the HP Support Community @krademigracke
I have a ZBook 17 G2 at work that's is used the same way.
It has been running for 2-3 years 24/7 like that and is opened 5-6 times a year.
We have not had a single problem with it.
