I have a HP 15-ay000 Notebook PC. It is several years old and no longer under warranty. After using my computer with no issues for 2 years or, the plastic laptop cover started cracking/breaking near the lower right hinge. Over time, various bits of plastic and small screws would break and fall out of this area though it would still close with no problem. Recently however, the lower right hinge appears to have broken completely. The laptop does not close at all without really forcing it to close, and it appears that further damage might be caused by closing the laptop. Does anyone have information about replacement parts (hinge, cover) for this laptop from HP or from a 3rd party vendor?

I have the same problem, tried contacting Hp but because bought through a retailer they offered absolutely not help or support, can't even order a replacement part anywhere. Common problems with Hp.
Ridiculous that there's no help or way of getting it repaired n the uk.
