HP 250 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC (511V8AV)

Hello, I recently bought a new laptop, the HP 15.6 inch G9 Notebook, and I also got a laptop cooling pad. I'm placing the cooling pad underneath the laptop. My question is, when I start the cooling pad, the laptop fan and the cooling pad fan work in opposite directions. The laptop fan blows air out, while the cooling pad fan blows air towards the laptop fan to cool it down. Will this cause any harm to the laptop? And if not, how often should I use the cooling pad for optimal performance?

That's right, the notebook sucks hot air out and the cooling pad pumps cool air in
