I connect my HP ENVY x360 13-ar0200nd to an external monitor the LG 34WN80C through usb-c. This monitor provides Power Delivery through usb-c and the laptop should also support it. However the screen flickers and I get a message with "incompatible power source".
Can anyone help me? How to fix the issue so that I can charge my laptop through my external monitor?

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/za-en/document/c06382936
It requires 65 W AC power adapter. The monitor only gives 60W PD.
By the way, I did say few times: Please do not use third party USB-C to charge HP machines. 90% chance they are NOT compatible.

Thank you for your response! What a pity it is incompatible I thought it was a standard... and monitor and laptop would figure out how fast or slow it can charge.
Question: is it possible to turn off USB-c power delivery (USB-C PD)? If I connect the external monitor without connecting the delivered power adapter it tries to charge it with UBS-C PD which fails. It tries it over and over again. The laptop only has USB-C so I need this connector for connecting the external monitor for the display.
