Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wanted to upgrade a ProBook 6750B with a 500GB ssd but the manual says it only supports 180, 160 and 128GB ssd:

So maybe it's because it's a very old laptop and back then the SSDs were expensive.. Or it really won't work?

Hi:

It should work.

The drive capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

Your theory regarding the cost of SSD's back in 2011-2012 is probably an accurate assessment.
