Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it possible for laptop fans, in my case dual fan to operate separately due to lack of heating. one fan spinning while the other is not.

Fans are controlled by heat sensors. Each area has a fan and its controller therefore 2 fans won't spin at the same speed due to 1 area is cooler than other area.

 

Hope this explains why.

Appreciate thanks, I just bought this new laptop and when i noticed one fan not spinning it got me worried thought i should check just in case. It does make sense that it's not working due to that part not being that heated up.
