This issue seems to be persistent with all HP pavilions as it seems. My HP Pavillion has always used it's fan excessively but it seems to be more unbearable recently.
The fan goes crazy whenever the memory usage (task manager) exceeds 20-30%. Or when the CPU exceeds 20%. You'd honestly think it's about to blow up!
Not been resolved after performing all possible options:
I have purchased Avast Driver Updater's and all my drivers are up to date.
Have premium Avast malware and antivirus. Scans detected nothing.
Changed some processes to not to start when windows logs in, or to manual.
I have taken the fan-out, cleaned it and reinstalled in.
Full windows restart,
Excessive System Test,
Changed power options,
I have purchased and use an elevated laptop stand to promote airflow.
Still no result! Not even a slight improvement! The only other thing I can think of is to order a replacement fan? If unlikely to change anything, then a change of laptop it will be.
Thanks in advance.
