Hi All,
Just wondering if is it safe to play games on our laptops? I have Ryzen 5 2500u with vega 8 graphics and 4gb ram.
The main question is whenever I play let's say call of duty modern warfare 3 etc. I kinda feel that the laptop is getting warm so I purchased a cooling pad but I dont think that it helps the laptop cooldown a bit. Im just worried if this has some bad effects in the future.
Thanks!

The laptop has thermal protection and will shut down before it gets destructively hot but yes over time high heat can shorten component life. Laptops can run pretty hot however without damage. Look for an app called speedfan on the internet (its free) and this will tell us exactly how hot its getting and we can give some more specific advice.
