I have brought my laptop and after 3 months I am getting this issue. When I try to lift and hold the laptop, my laptop hangs. I don't know what the issue is. I have heard HP laptop users are facing this issue. Can you please help me in resolving this or possible solution.

Hi @avis96

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your laptop might have a hardware issue, possibly related to a loose connection or a failing component. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Check for Loose Connections: Sometimes, internal components can become loose. If you're comfortable opening your laptop, carefully check the connections to the hard drive, RAM, and other components.

Inspect the Hard Drive: If your laptop has a traditional hard drive (HDD), it might be physically sensitive to movement. Consider running a diagnostic check on the hard drive to see if there are any errors.

Test in Safe Mode: Boot your laptop in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if a software issue is contributing to the problem.

Update Drivers and BIOS: Ensure that all your drivers, especially for the graphics and chipset, are up to date. Also, check if there's a BIOS update available for your model.

Check for Overheating: Make sure the laptop isn’t overheating, as this can cause it to freeze. Ensure that vents are clear and that the fans are working properly.

Run Hardware Diagnostics: Many laptops come with built-in diagnostic tools. Run these to check for hardware issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
