Actually yesterday I left my laptop on sleep mode, when I returned after an hour and turned on my laptop clicked left button of my mouse and it froze between the sleep mode page and sign in page and now I'm concerned and confused of I should power/hard reset or not because I haven't activated windows and not backed up my any of my photos, video, imp documents.
Please help me ASAP.

Plug in the power adapter and let the laptop battery charge.
What you can do depends on your level of knowledge.
You can remove the storage device and put it in an appropriate USB enclosure and connect it to another PC to retrieve your photos, video, and documents.
You can pay a laptop shop to do that for you.
Once you have done that you can hold down the power button to hard shutdown and restart the laptop.
You may find that you have a complete recovery as if nothing happened.
You could also find that you need to reinstall Windows.
In the future, understand the limitations of sleep mode.
Do not use it unless your laptop has a power adapter plugged in and connected to household power.
