Product: HP Omen 15
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have been having heat issues since first purchasing this laptop back in October 2019, its very uncomfortable to use.
Its 14 months old now and despite trying all I can think of, its still hotter than the sun. The last thing I can try is repasting the CPU. For the record, I've used throttlestop to try and keep it cool, even capped at 2.8ghz it hits 100 degrees. The only way to stop it from thermal throttling is to turn off the turbo altogether.
I have a 3 year warranty on this radiator, can I take it to a computer shop to get the CPU repasted without voiding it otherwise this laptop is pointless as a gaming machine?
Thanks.
