My laptop works fine mostly but randomly it stops working for some time.
Sometimes it doesn't let me turn it on. I leave it for some time then again it works fine.
Sometimes, it stops while I'm working. That time the screen goes blank but I hear the notification sound if I try plugging and unplugging the charger (that indicates it's still running but screen isn't working).
But the weird part is it's not happening frequently. I can work for tens of hours and it won't happen but sometimes all of a sudden it stops working and doesn't turn on for around 20~30 minutes.
I doubt it's due to motherboard issue since the laptop is old, but it's letting me work for longer time and stops some times only (once or twice in 3~4 days), so I'm confused. Could anyone confirm why and when do we expect this behaviour?
Also if the issue relates to motherboard, Can I upgrade my motherboard as a replacement with better CPU? If so, how to know up to what processor I can upgrade and what would be the motherboard model?
And also, what are the options for screen replacement? Is there any option for replacing with a different pannel (IPS or OLED) and/or with better resolution (Full HD or 2k), without using a secondary monitor?
