HP Spectre X360 13-ac033dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Today was the first day I began using my new X360 and after typing, I noticed that the bottom right corner was flexing as I rested my hands on it.  I thought perhaps the desk I was using was uneven, but it seems that the bottom chassis of the unit is warped and allows one edge to curl up slightly.

I see some other references on the forum to a similar problem.  Is this a problem that requires replacing the unit or can it be repaired?

I have the same issue with my HP Pavilion.  I keep the lid closed as I am using 2 HP Pavilion 27xw monitors and a full size keyboard and mouse through the USB, so my laptop screen is constantly closed.    Is this caused from the battery beingkeyboard.jpg defective?

HP Recommended

Yes.

change the battery and the keyboard will lay flat again.

How old is the laptop?

HP Recommended

It’s the battery the problem, change it  and everything will go back as when you first bought it.
