Today was the first day I began using my new X360 and after typing, I noticed that the bottom right corner was flexing as I rested my hands on it. I thought perhaps the desk I was using was uneven, but it seems that the bottom chassis of the unit is warped and allows one edge to curl up slightly.
I see some other references on the forum to a similar problem. Is this a problem that requires replacing the unit or can it be repaired?

I have the same issue with my HP Pavilion. I keep the lid closed as I am using 2 HP Pavilion 27xw monitors and a full size keyboard and mouse through the USB, so my laptop screen is constantly closed. Is this caused from the battery being defective?
