Hey everyone,

I have just got a rather weird problem on my laptop. Many keyboard keys just stopped working about 3 days ago. No history of spillage on to the keyboard or physical damage to the laptop itself.  It's pretty much useless for most tasks now. Started off with alternate bouts of the left arrow key not working and it coming alive by just scrolling my cursor all the way to the left in any document as I typed. NowKeyboard.jpg most keys plainly do not work. It's about 3 years old this laptop so not too old. Any ideas? I have attached a screenshot from the keyboard diagnostics in the HP diagnostics app for Windows; keys in white do not work. Thanks.

Also, on the same note, current keyboard is non-backlit. Would a backlit keyboard work on it since the laptop has a backlit version?
