My laptop battery needs to be changed, a pop up shows my battery needs replacement and I have ordered it. But in the mean time the issue is the battery is not charging above 1% while plugged in and I think because of that my laptop is running slow and lagging. I have already changed in the settings to high performance mode but still facing issue. Any help would be great

Hello, Thanks for the help. I just changed my battery, and performed the extensive test as mentioned. All of my test are passing except for the battery one, it shows not installed. I don't know why that is the case, and also, once I install my battery and use the pc, it lags but if I use my PC without any battery just on AC power supply, it works perfectly fine.
Any help would be much appreciated. Moreover, I am also getting the following pop up upon start up of my laptop.
"The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will reset to default configuration, and the computer will restart. Afterwards, please check the BIOS setup options to see if they change. "
Note: I have also updated my BIOS as suggested in the previous message
