Hi, when I press the power button I hear a buzzing noise and the laptop doesn't start. This buzzing noise continues till around 10 seconds and the laptop doesn't startup. Tried doing this several times. Does anyone have a solution to the same and an idea on what the issue maybe.

I will escalate you to an HP employee or at least try to do so. One month past warranty there may be some forgiveness of strict warranty deadline but I cannot guarantee anything. Other than that, you would have to have the motherboard replaced and that can cost a large percentage of the cost of the laptop.

Hi Huffer, can you direct me/provide me email id's of some of the people that are higher up in HP. I had visited the authorized centre last Saturday and ended up with scratches on the top cover of my laptop and additionally when I reached home, I noted my sim tray slot was not put back. Also as you had mentioned my motherboard was spoilt; this also was confirmed by the service centre. They mentioned that I would receive a quote for the same on my email ID. I have been following up with the email address (servicehead@hp.com) and also on the various whatsapp support groups with respect to all of these issues, however, I have had no resolution with the same and am completely annoyed. I want to highlight this matter to the top authorities in HP to understand whether they truly care and are concerned. Also have lost all faith in the authorized service centre of HP and now feel it would have been better to reach out to a local repair centre. Thanks
