My laptop has been making these strange sounds lately. As soon as the fans go on (or the computer boots) you can hear this static spark-like sounds from inside the computer. I've booted into Ubuntu and turned off the speakers so it is probably not either drivers or speakers being the problem. When I shut the computer down, it fades out again.
I've had the HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx laptop since spring 2018 with no errors until now. Do you know what could've caused this and if it is fixable?
