Hi @Sagarambike,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Battery Installation
- Remove the battery: Ensure the battery is correctly installed. Remove it and re-insert, making sure it is properly seated.
- Secure Battery Connection: Ensure the battery contacts are clean and making good contact with the laptop.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the laptop: Disconnect the adapter and remove the battery.
- Press and hold the power button: Hold down the power button for about 15-20 seconds to discharge residual electricity.
- Reconnect the battery and adapter: Place the battery back in and connect the adapter.
- Power on the laptop: Attempt to power on the laptop.
Check Battery Health
- Connect the adapter: Turn on the laptop while connected to the power adapter.
- Open HP Support Assistant: Use HP Support Assistant to check the health of the battery. If HP Support Assistant is not installed, you can download it here.
- Check battery status: Follow the instructions in HP Support Assistant to perform a battery check. Replace the battery if it is found to be faulty.
Update BIOS and Drivers
- Ensure you are connected to the internet: Use the adapter to power the laptop.
- Visit HP Support: Go to the official HP Support page and enter your model number (HP 15-3001tu).
- Update BIOS and drivers: Download and install the latest BIOS and drivers for your laptop. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve hardware compatibility issues.
Test with Different Battery
If you have access to another compatible battery, try using it to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem is specifically with the new battery or with the laptop itself.
I hope this helps.
