Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?

Pavilion 15 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I plug my laptop in to charge, the icon at the bottom right says that it is charging, however it doesn't gain any charge. Also, whether the laptop is plugged in to charge or not, there battery light flashes white. It should be a solid orange when its plugged in, and when it's fully charged it should be solid white.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to fix it?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the battery is not getting charged.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

If the charger led is blinking it indicates an issue with the battery. Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then follow the steps in the below article and run a test on the battery.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
