I was playing a game for 30 mins yesterday and the laptop was fine, I shut it down as normal then left it. When i came back after 6 hours, the laptop was dead and I tried to charge it.
But to my suprise the laptop wouldn't charge. There was no orange light or anything, I have checked the wires to see if anything is wrong and there's nothing wrong. Also the charger was brand new. Only brought it from Currys 1 week ago.
I really don't know what to do and I don't know whats causing it.

"Charger: LOGIK 100-240V (input)" is not the power adapter that is supposed to be used with the laptop.
What happened to the original power adapter?
At four to five years of use, the battery is likely in need of replacement. Did you ever run the battery test?

How long have you been using the laptop?
You will need a new HP charger if you no longer have the original one.

At four years, the battery needs to be replaced with a new compatible battery.
Most people get about three years out of a battery, depending on how they maintain it.
Not charging beyond 85% and never letting it drop below 20% extends the life of a laptop battery.
That is why it quit.
It had probably been not lasting as long in battery only power mode for a year or so.
That is also why I provided the compatible HP battery part number in one of my replies
