Product: Hp pavilion 15-p250nu

I'm trying to install a SSD on my old HP Pavilion 15-p250nu aptop in place of my dvd drive, but BIOS does not detect the SSD nor does windows detect it anywhere. My SSD works fine on my PC I tested it. My BIOS is latest version f57 I could not find any informatiob except one page where it said my model only supports one drive at a time. I thought all laptops have the option to install second hard drive. It fits perfectly with the adapter I bought so is it true that I can only have one hard drive or is there a problem somewhere else and how can I fix it. Thank you.
