i have a HP Victus 15-fb2xxx with the Ryzen 5 and 6550m graphics card. When i try to install new ram the laptop wont power on. The power button will light up but then turn off after 2 seconds. I have purchased Crucial 32gb kit ram DDR5 5600. I have tried both sticks, one stick, mix matched. Laptop would only power on with just the 8gb DDR5 5600 ram stick it came with by itself. Laptop is updated with up to date BIOS.

Sounds like you bought not compatible RAM. Please return it and use SAME RAM as the following user
Regards.

The Crucial RAM i bought is on the list of compatible RAMs for the laptop. So im not sure if maybe the ram i received is just faulty. I have no other laptop to test DDR5 ram since its pretty new to see if the ram is just broken or not to confirm.
