My hp elite book 840g1 is not turning on. The battery is charged full. After using it yesterday and hibernating, I tried to turn it on today but it’s not coming on. I hen I removed the battery and plugged it the power button light and the caps lock light comes on, and goes off. Then when I try to turn it on, the laptop on indicator light comes on, goes off then the battery charging light comes on, blinks btw battery full and battery charging light twice and goes off. The laptop still won’t come on.

A double blink led with no powering on means that the BIOS is corrupt.
Try recovering the BIOS.
From power off, hold down the Windows key and the B key at the same time and press the power button.
Keep holding the two aforementioned keys until the notebook responds with an onscreen BIOS recovery message.
You may have to hold the keys for almost a full minute.
If that does not produce a positive result you will need to create a USB BIOS recovery flash drive
Here is a link to the drivers and software.

I would have provided a link to the specific BIOS file, but you have not provided the installed operating system information.
