Hi, I would like help with my HP envy 360x laptop, for a while it has only been working while charging, online I saw that you need to buy a new battery to resolve this, today I put in a new battery and it still continued to only work when plugged in. I then ran a battery diagnostic and it said " blown fuse battery". Can someone please help, I would just like to use my laptop without having to charge it.
Thank you.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer turns off when you disconnect the charger.
- What is the operating system you are using?
- What is the product number for your computer?
While you answer that, I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager.
Here is how you do it.
Step 1: Click the Windows “Start” button and right-click “Computer.”
Step 2: Click “Manage,” then “Device Manager.”
Step 3: Click the “Batteries” section. A list of devices will appear.
Step 4: Right-click the “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery” device and click “Uninstall.”
Step 5: Click the “Action” menu item and “Scan for Hardware Changes” to reinstall the driver.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Much more likely to be the battery than the laptop when you buy "compatible". Nothing really wrong with that but the percent that are bad on delivery is a little higher. They are generally good about replacing batteries.
