Product: Hp pavilion bc410nq

Hello there. I have an issue with my HP Pavilion 15-bc410nq. My power plug died already 2 times, got changed, now requires a 3rd change. Laptop has 150w charger as it says on the back of the laptop, but what we noticed is that the laptop had first, as new, a 120w power plug. We searched everywhere and we couldn't find a 150w power plug with 9 pins, only with 12pins. Is it normal for laptop to require 150w charger but the DC power inside be only 120w?
