Just picked up an i5 "15 Laoptop PC" today. The included power supply gets extremely hot; almost too hot to touch. It looks rather undersized at 45W; it's way smaller than any power supply I've had on any other laptop.
Is this indicative of a defective power supply? I'm afraid it's going to catch on fire. Is this a known issue?

@Ungarata
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
To get the answer to this question, A relatively warm power adapter is normal, especially when the laptop is in use while the battery is charging. However, if the adapter is quite hot, enough that it could hurt your hand after touching it for a few seconds, there could be a serious issue.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
And, also you can check with the local store where the product has been purchased.
