I have hp probook 450 g2 i5-5200u processor laptop. I want to know if I can upgrade to new fast processor(i7 or newer gen) and if so, how far can I upgrade based upon motherboard and system architecture?

Hi:
The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and is not removable.
In order to upgrade the processor, the motherboard has to be replaced by one listed in your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.
It would be very expensive to do if you could even find the part you need.
