Hello,
my HP Pavilion - 15-cs3005nl laptop currenlty has a 8GB ram bank by Ramaxel (model RMSA3260NA78HAF-2666) installed.
I'd like to upgrade the memory by adding an additional 8GB ram bank and I've found a ram bank by Crucial is marked as compatible with my laptop.
Is it safe to have multiple ram banks from different vendor (Ramaxel and Crucial) running together or it would be better to buy another ram bank of the very same model of the one currently installed on my laptop? In the second case do you know where I can buy it?
Thank you.

Hi:
You should be fine adding the Crucial memory chip to the one HP installed.
If you want the same model that HP installed, I see some for sale on eBay.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the memory removal and replacement procedure.
