Hello,
I recently downloaded the demo of FIFA 17 to evaluate the performance of my laptop. The game works well, does not show any kind of lag or defect, but I noticed that immediately after the start of the game, the laptop becomes louder and the temperature rises.Through a program I noticed that the CPU temperature reaches about 90 ° and how to tip maximum 100 ° C even during the phase of the game, while usually (as I browse, watch movies) runs on 50-60 and maximum 70.My pc mounts an i7 5500U processor @ 2.40GHz, a NVIDIA Geforce 840M and an Intel HD 5500 card and I bought it last year.
How can I lower the temperature during the game? Is it bad to play at this temperature?
Sorry for my English

You are approaching the max temp of 105 c for that processor. Reaching the maximum temperature for extended periods of times will eventually damage your processor. The processor will usually throttle down to allow it to cool down a bit. I would suggest not playing the game for long periods- maybe 45 minutes. You can also use a cooling pad with fan/fans under it to help some. I have seen some owners say that limiting the cpu helps with overheating. Under Power Options- look under "Change advanced power settings". Find the "Processor power management" and set the maximum processor state to 90% . That should drop the temps a bit without affecting performance.

Thank you for the answer.
I heard that cooling pad are not very effective but decrease the temperature just a few degrees.I modified as you told me Processor power management, setting it to 80%. I hope that already so the temperature drops a little.
Thanks again
