When I unplug the charger of my Hp Victus gaming laptop 15-fa0000, it gets shutdown instantly and the charging percentage is locked at 89% while it's showing charging status. The percentage isn't going beyond that.
I would appreciate some help on this issue. Thanks in advance!

Read the knowledge base article at the link below and invoke the Battery report as I described in the article.
Generally, when a laptop behaves as you have described, the fault is a battery that has failed and needs to be replaced.
