HP NOTEBOOK 15-ay513tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi, I've been having a lot of issues with my ho notebook, first was the issue with overheating, my laptop would turn off on its own, but due pandemic and lockdown I was not able to go to a service centre, plus my windows is not genuine, it's windows 10 OS, then my system become slower, issues with chrome, would take a lotta time to start, then I shut down the update, gradually after that, I had "start menu not working" issue, fixed it my updating the system, but system is still slow and the power issue persists.

@Aliena

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's do a test here:

Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

Click Extensive Test.

Click Run once, or Loop until error.

While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.

If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.

Also, let's update the BIOS: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
