Hello,
I own an HP Pavilion 15AB522TX
Lately, my laptop is turning off automatically without warning after about 5min after unplugging the adapter. I tried reinstalling the drivers, but it was of no use. I also reinstalled windows and nothing happened. Also, I ran the diagnostic tool and it passed that too. But the issue still exists.
Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get this resolved ?? Please help me. I am a student and laptop has become an integral part of studies due to these online lectures.
Thanks in advance
Girish

You will need to replace the main battery.
The description of the problem that you have given of a main battery that has reached its end of service life.
Your notebook was produced about four to five years ago and unfortunately, has been out of warranty for a while.

Hello,
I thought of buying a new battery. I am currently staying in Germany and when I checked for HP spare parts the particular model was not in stock.
Is there any way I could get an original battery ??
If anyone has any leads please share.
Thanks in advance,
Girish

Here are online sources for the original battery in Germany. I used the original part number from the manual(HP 800049-001)
Here is the manual for your notebook (see page 27, item 18)
