I need to upgrade my laptop. The hard drive is 1tb but 5400 RPM.
1. Can i add on more SSD with existing Hard drive? If so how to and provision is given?
2. The RAM specification mentioned is not much specific. Mentioned is SDRAM DDR4. But when i googled there is SODIMM RAM results more. Which RAM, pin type frequency and more other detail will be suitable for my laptop. I need to add one more 8GB RAM.

Hi,
Max RAM for your notebook is 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x16GB) even if the service manual mentions 16GB.
There are two slots and at the moment you have one 8GB module, so you can add another 8GB module in the empty slot.
You can purchase from your preferred brand.
Example:
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-15-da0077tx#MEMORYFilters
On page 43 of the service manual, you can see the steps to install the RAM

Your PC has a slot for M2 SSD. It supports M2 SATA3 SSD and much faster M2 PCIe NVMe SSD of your desired brand and capacity (no limit to capacity)
Examples:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-15-da0077tx/CT14018555
It will give an amazing boost to the everyday performance of the notebook.
You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD.
On page 47 of the service manual, you can see the steps to install the M2 SSD
Hope it helps,
David

You're welcome.
SODIMM is the size of the RAM. All notebooks use SODIMM RAM.
Yes, you can install the M2 SSD in addition to the 2.5" HDD. Naturally, if you get a large capacity SSD, you could also just remove the old mechanical drive.
Let me know if you need further help.
All the best,
David
