So, I’ve had this laptop for about 3 years now and it’s been going great until the last 2 days. I got home from school and my laptop would not charge I’ve tried resetting it but unfortunately it did not work, my laptop ended up dying without charge and it’s still dead up till this point. Whenever I plug the charger in the charger led blinks 3 times, I tried fixing this issue with unplugging my battery and plugging it back in I don’t know if I created a bigger issue but now it only flashes 3 times once and does not show any form of power. Yes I did plug the battery back in. Edit: I have bought a new charger

Hi @Jul25,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your Laptop that is not powering on.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.
Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.
-Perform a power drain on your PC.
1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.
2) Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it is a detachable part and keep it aside.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the AC adapter, then connect it to the wall and to the charging port on your PC.
5) Power on the PC and check if it boots into Windows now.
-Try connecting an alternate charger which is compatible to confirm if there is an issue with the charger or try the same charger on another laptop that uses the same type of charging port.
