Hi @KarenS9

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

That sounds incredibly frustrating, and I’m really sorry you’re dealing with a laptop that’s completely unresponsive. Let’s walk through a few steps that might help revive it:

🔌 Try a full power reset
This clears any residual charge that could be blocking startup:

  • Unplug the laptop and remove any connected devices.
  • If the battery is removable, take it out.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power adapter (without the battery, if removable) and try powering it on.

Test with a known working outlet and adapter
Even if you’ve tried multiple power supplies, it’s worth confirming:

  • Use a different wall outlet directly (avoid surge protectors).
  • Check if the adapter’s LED lights up—if not, it may not be delivering power.

🔍 Inspect for signs of life

  • Look closely for any faint LED flicker or fan noise.
  • Try pressing Esc or F2 repeatedly while powering on to see if BIOS responds.

🧰 If you're comfortable opening the laptop
Some users have had success by:

  • Disconnecting the internal battery and CMOS battery (if accessible).
  • Waiting 10 minutes, then reconnecting and trying to power on.

If none of these steps work, it could point to a deeper hardware issue like a faulty motherboard or power circuit.

You're not alone in this—let’s keep pushing forward! 💪
