Hi @NuUserLT,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I Understand that your concern, don’t worry I will help you with this .

  1. Any signs of funcitonality ?
    • Do any LEDs turn on (charging light, Caps Lock, keyboard backlight)?
    • Do you hear a fan, click, or feel warmth when plugged in?
  2. What happens with the charger connected?
    • Does the charging light turn on (white/orange)?
    • Have you tried a different wall outlet or charger?
  3. Did anything happen before it stopped turning on?

These details help determine whether this is likely a power delivery issue, battery failure, or motherboard problem.

Troubleshooting steps to try :

1. Confirm the charger is actually working

Even if it looks fine:

  • Try a different wall outlet
  • Inspect the charger and cable for damage
  • If possible, test with another known-working HP charger with the same wattage

No charging light at all often points to a charger or DC-in issue.

2. Drain residual power (extended power reset)

You mentioned a hard reset, but try this exact method if you haven’t already:

  1. Unplug the charger
  2. Hold the power button for 30–60 seconds
  3. Wait another 5 minutes
  4. Plug in the charger only (no battery if removable)
  5. Try to power on

3. Look closely for LED blink codes

Some HP laptops show very brief blink codes:

  • Caps Lock / Num Lock blinking
  • Charging LED flashing patterns

Even a quick blink can be a clue let me know if you see anything like that.

5. External display test

This is a long shot but quick to try:

  • Plug in an external monitor or TV via HDMI
  • Try powering on
  • Watch for any signal or backlight change

I hope this helps.
