Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I thought my laptop needed a power jack replacement. So I purchased one and replaced it, but the computer won’t turn on- still. I want to know if it’s a power adapter issue, what does that look like? And if it’s a battery or power jack issue, what do they look like? And if I check and none of those are the problem, what could it be?

HP Recommended

The motherboard. You could try testing the power supply with a voltmeter to see what it is putting out. Unlikely a bad battery would keep it from powering on.
