Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I plugged my charger in my laptop because battery was getting low. Heard a pop and it wouldn’t turn on or charge. The charge light wouldn’t even turn on. I replaced the battery and charger, now the light does come on as if it’s charging but it still won’t turn on. Took apart and motherboard looks fine, nothing looks popped or burnt. Computer is old, replaced fan over a year ago and replaced the screen a few times.

Depends on what the "pop" was. It could be the dc jack or it could be some a type of motherboard short.

Took the motherboard to a repair shop and they said it looked fine
