Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?

I just bought my HP Pavilion 360 less than a month ago and it's only been used for schoolwork and research. No virus or threats were detected. It was working fine today until I had to charge it. When it was fully charged, I turned it on and the screen just froze. I tried shutting it down by pressing the power button but it didn't work. Now, the screen's just black but the power button's lit up (meaning it's turned on). What do I do?

1. Please dont remove the battery from your Notebook

2. Just unplug the AC/Power Adapter from the Notebook

3. Press and hold the Power Button of your Notebook for 1 full  minute

As far as I  know this should make difference

Steps to drain the Static charge and loading default BIOS settings to resolve the issue

Step 01. Turn OFF the Notebook

Step 02. Un-plug the Power/AC Adapter and also remove the Battery too

Step 03. Press and Hold the Power Button of the Notebook for a full minute

Step 04. Now let's re-insert the battery back in and plug back the Power/AC Adapter

Step 05. Start the Notebook and keep tapping F10 Key during the startup to access the BIOS

Step 06. Once you get to the BIOS, Please press F5 Key to load setup defaults for the BIOS

Step 07. Now let's press Esc/Escape Key. Save Changes and Exit - Yes

Step 08. Now please wait till the Unit loads the Windows Operating system

Thank you! But in order to remove the battery, I'd have to take out the screws and I'm afraid this might cancel out my warranty... Is there any other way to solve this? Also, I can't turn off the laptop. The screen's black but the power button is on. I tried to press the power button to shut it off but nothing happened 😞
