Anyone have a download link for the SPxxxxx wrapper.  And I was wondering, What good is the Recovery and HP-Tools Partitions? Can the be removed since none of the HP software will ever be current. The latest CMOS update # Date?

Hi:

 

HP retired support for that model series since it is more than 10 years old.

 

Your notebook has the latest BIOS update HP released for it (F.29).

 

If you don't plan on factory resetting the notebook, you can remove those partitions.

 

This reputable 3rd party website has drivers for your notebook should you ever need them.

 

HP Compaq Presario CQ62-209WM drivers (driverscollection.com)
